orla inspiration

I haven’t visited Orla Kiely‘s site in a while. I snuck over this morning hoping against hope that she’d come out with a line of diaper bags. No luck. But I did find a bunch of LOVELY things.

Like stem towels? We might need those in a very bad way:

Good inspiration for “nursery” colors too.

Maybe one of these bags would make a good diaper bag?

But they probably don’t have pockets for diapers and bottles and whatever else constitutes a diaper bag.

Random but persistent thought:

I need to redesign my blog. BAD. I’m so sick of blogger. Maybe that will be a postpartum project for me in betwixt late night feedings?

We are soaking wet here in LA but I get to wear my rain boots with little elephants on them so I’m happy.

I think your Web site looks great, IMHO! What other blog hosting companies/services are you looking at?

i used a similar orla bag as my diaper bag. loved it and that outer nylon material came in handy for all of my daily spills and spit-ups.

this place has cute diaper bags: the reese bag is quite cute in person. and a friend recently told me they sell a lower priced version at gap.

(i think this is the longest comment i've ever left. stopping now.)

re: diaper bags. i use a purseket ( to line regular tote bags. the large one is the best (but make sure it will fit your bag) because it provides all the pockets i need for baby and personal stuff.

Can you let me know what other blog sites you prefer to this one? I feel like I saw you post something about this in the past but can't find. I am starting one of my own and would love some insight…

Get a big bag you love and some different sized little ones for organizing! I never used a diaper bag with my #2 child, and for #1 the one we used wasn't big enough. These are beautiful! Enjoy!
