Coral peonies
Which I admittedly posted last year at this exact same time. But no one ever says, “Oh, coral peonies? Those are SO last year.”

They are extremely gorgeous every time, and no matter how many times, I see them. So showy, I’d almost classify them as obscene, don’t you think? The painted hussies of the flower world.
And very cheap at Trader Joe’s at the moment. 6 stems for… well, actually I’m not sure how much. But not very, if I recall. I advise picking up a bunch or three post-haste.

Are you kidding me? These are gorgeous.
I’ve been looking for peonies at Trader Joe’s for over a month now! I’ll have to go back & check again. ;)
They are really lovely Kristina…
Peonies are by far my favorite flower of all time. So I’m not sure what that says about me considering you called them the “painted hussies of the flower world” ;)
Ohhh, little peony, how I love thee. Gorgeous, gorgeous, photos Kristina! You captured their spirit so well–such a fan of their biggish lobed petals and sweet distinctive scent.
coral peonies are beyond gorgeous! i was so sad when i found out they were totally out of season for my wedding – what a bummer!
Kudos to you for calling flowers hussies! I like that in a girl. And beautiful flowers!
so pretty!
So lovely – you can never post too many peony photos!
Gaaaaah so beautiful! Imported white peonies are $30 for 5 stems WHOLESALE in Sydney, Australia at the moment…. that’s about $80 retail! Madness…
I’m a peonies lover!!! Haven’t seen coral before. Must hit up trader joes this week. Thanks for sharing
Stunning! I need to get to TJs today, my bunch from a street vendor two weeks ago never opened :(
Agreed! Peonies always have a way of taking my breath away. We don’t have a Trader Joe’s in Austin yet but Whole Foods has them priced pretty reasonable at the moment.
Simply Lovely!
$6.99 for the bunch at TJs! I bought some last week and they are the biggest peonies i’ve ever seen once they opened up. Just gorgeous!
Oh one of my most favorite flowers of all. I wish my little bush would grow faster…..
